Day Three Food Journal
My Day three food journal has been recorded. It is now becoming my new normal to write stuff down. The first journal was a struggle, this seems pretty easy now. It is interesting how quickly we can adapt to something new. I am definitely seeing some things to adjust! Can you see it?
Breakfast 6:45 am-
Two eggs over easy
Two pancakes. 4 TB of maple syrup. 2 TB of butter
3 cups of coffee with 6 TB of ID Pumplin Spice Creamer
Snack 10:00 am-
Nature Valley Crunchy Granola Bar
Protein Shake with Almond Milk-Pure Protein vanilla
Lunch at 1:15 pm:
Taco Salad-1 cup meat, 2 tb sour cream, ½ avocado, ¼ cup salsa, ¼ cup lettuce
Snack at 3:15 pm:
Apple with single serve Jif Pb
Home at 4:20 pm:
Handful of Aldis mixed nuts
Bag Cheetos (small)
Dinner at 6:30 pm:
1 ½ chicken thighs grilled
½ cup peas
Sweet Potato with 2 tb butter
Dessert:
Hershey bar with almonds
Snack at 8:45 pm:
1 cup Greek Yogurt with ¼ cup blueberries
This seems like a nice day of eating. I added times, I added amounts, and I tried to include brands when applicable. I have one more day of food journaling then I am going to look at all four days and try to find any commonalities.
A few takeaways:
I eat a large amount of nuts
I am always having dessert
I have two, very close together snacks.
Actually it seems like I am eating constantly through the day. Every two hours except breakfast to my first snack.
Well, while journaling, I am not going to worry about all of that now. I am going to eat as normal as I can this last day, write it out, THEN start looking for things to improve upon! I am almost there, ready to take the next step!!
